The Study Hub Tuition
Our mission is to help grow struggling students' confidence to thrive in school.
How I feel when a parent says, “We’ll just wait until Term 4 to fix a reading gap that started in Term 1.” 😳🤦🏽♀️
I say this with total love, but waiting is the absolute biggest trap we can fall into when it comes to reading gaps!
🛑 Following the “wait and see” approach usually just means the gap gets wider, and the mountain gets steeper to climb. 🏔️
Here is what actually happens behind the scenes:
🧠 The snowball effect: Reading isn’t a standalone skill—it builds like building blocks. If Term 1 blocks (like decoding or phonics rules) are shaky, Term 2 and 3 concepts have nothing to sit on. 📉
💥 The confidence crash: By the time Term 4 rolls around, a struggling reader isn’t just behind academically; they are often feeling anxious, frustrated, and disengaged from school altogether. 😢
⏳ The time crunch: Trying to cram months of foundational learning into the final weeks of the school year puts so much unnecessary pressure on your little human.
Early intervention isn’t about rushing them or adding stress—it’s about giving them the tools and the confidence right now so they can coast through the year feeling like an absolute boss! 🌟💪🏽
Instead of waiting for a breakdown, let’s catch it early with hands-on, explicit support that actually makes learning stick (and makes it fun!). 🧩✨
Drop a 🙋🏽♀️ in the comments if you’re ready to tackle those learning gaps early, or DM us to chat about how we can support your child this term! 👇🏽

❌ Not every preschooler is going to sit down and focus like the “perfect” kids we see on social media—and honestly?
That is completely normal.
Hi, I’m Fibi, a literacy and education specialist.
If you want your child to focus more during learning without the power struggle, hit that follow button.
We’ve all been there: You spend time and money setting up a beautiful activity, only for your child to walk away after sixty seconds.
It’s frustrating and disappointing.
You start to wonder, *‘Why can’t they just focus?’* or *‘Are they falling behind?’* Then, the tension rises. Your tone changes, they push back, and suddenly, “learning time” feels like a battlefield.
**Here is the secret:** What you see online is often the result of weeks or months of consistency. Focus isn’t something kids just *have*—it’s a learned skill, and it is built on **connection first**, not the activity itself.
Check out these scenarios to help shift the energy:
* **The “Runaway” Learner:** If they won’t sit, take the learning to them. Use vertical surfaces (like a window or easel) or floor-based games to get their whole body involved.
* **The “I Can’t” Learner:** If they get frustrated easily, focus on “connection before correction.” Play a game they love for 5 minutes first to fill their cup before introducing a new task.
* **The “Bored” Learner:** Ditch the static activities. Swap the pencils for sensory bins, playdough, or water play to make the literacy concepts “stick” through touch.
I’ve put together a framework that takes your reluctant little learner to enjoying sitting down for longer periods.
**Ready to get your child school-ready?** We are currently enrolling for our programs where we focus on hands-on, multisensory learning that kids actually love.

We’ve all been there: you open a workbook, and the mood immediately shifts.
The fidgeting starts, the eyes wander, and suddenly, counting to ten feels like an impossible chore.
For many little ones, worksheets feel like a barrier to the world, not a way to understand it.
At The Study Hub, we ditch the "sit-still" lecture for a hands-on, multisensory approach.
As you can see, we don't start with a blank page; we start with curiosity.
Turning "No" into "How Many?"
Look at the engagement.
By using natural textures and painted stones, we turn abstract numbers into something a child can actually hold.
🔢Counting & Representing: Instead of just looking at a digit, they feel the weight of the stones as they place them down.
👀Recognition: We move away from memorization and toward understanding how numbers look and feel in a real-world context.
🧮Operations: Adding and subtracting becomes a game of "how many stones are left in the tray?" rather than a scary equation on a whiteboard.
When we spark interest through curiosity, the "reluctance" disappears.
They aren't just sitting down to learn; they’re playing their way to mastery.

From “falling behind” to leading the way. 📖✨
Christian’s journey is one we see all too often. A bright student who tries so hard, but the traditional way of teaching reading just isn’t “clicking.”
When Christian started with us, we stopped the guesswork. We moved away from just 26 letters and introduced him to the logic of the 44 phonemes.
The result?
✅ No more being “pulled out” for intervention.
✅ Spelling complex words with ease.
✅ A massive boost in classroom confidence.
Your child doesn’t need to struggle in silence.
