20. The applicant’s application which is the subject of this review was to complete a Master in Professional Accounting from November 2023-June 2025. Due to delays in this matter
coming before me, the applicant has now completed her course and provided corroborating evidence from her course provider.16 I consider this very compelling evidence in support of a
conclusion that the applicant is a genuine student.
21. For the two years following her application with the Department, the applicant has continued to apply herself with excellent course progress, while on a bridging visa and while awaiting the outcome of her application for review together with managing the demands of a young family and a twin pregnancy. I commend her. I consider this strong evidence that she is a genuine student, and I have placed weight in her favour in this regard.
22. The applicant has now enrolled in a Master of Accounting with course dates from November
2025-June 2026. The Tribunal conducted a further PRISMS search which confirmed this
enrolment on 10 November 2025.

Registered nurses holding valid registrations from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Ireland, Spain, and Singapore now benefit from a streamlined IQNM assessment pathway in Australia. The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) recognize the strong alignment of nursing qualifications and registration standards from these countries. As a result, applicants from these nations are no longer required to complete the full Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA). Instead, they are provided with a more direct route to registration, saving both time and resources.
