Nothing beats gorgeous snuggled-up kitties on a cool Melbourne day — a little reminder that life can be beautifully simple if we slow down and stop overcomplicating everything. 🐾🤍

Today I had a huge load of "to do's" on my plate which was causing some anxiety on how I was going to manage it all with timings ect.
So I got up this morning and started the day with a brisk walk of the lake! Pleased to say everything flowed just as was meant to!

Taking time for me has increasingly become my normal. I've been learning through my studies how important self care is. Whilst I 'knew' this, I was not doing it nearly enough.
The more self care I take the more I sink deeper into myself which for me means more emotion flows with all the joy I feel.

Family beach holiday to reset for another new year! Love being by the beach with my favourite people!

I had to move the garden again to a middle ground as in the new spot they were getting too much all day sun as opposed to all the afternoon sun. It's been tricky finding the right spot on a sloping block! Now they're getting afternoon shade and are much happier. So far so good!

Recovery oriented practices at school has by far been the most interesting subject. Getting into the real deep conversations with my fellow peers has been so enriching for me.

I've been here for 2 yrs now and was yet to establish a veggie garden. I did do herbs, but the spot I had them got too much afternoon sun and fried them! So fingers crossed this works 🙏
Have planted tomatoes and zucchini from the school Herby expo. Then we've added carrots, cucumber, lettuce, and spring onion, then a herb box with rosemary, thyme, oregano, parsley, and mint!

Contemplation in the pause whilst taking some much needed R&R. Back to it next week, with so much going on between now and the end of the yr!
