Good Morning!

SRC has been working hard to improve the school!

We're planning to overhaul the bike racks with a cover and new drainage. Quotes are being requested for new Big Ass Fans for the sport centre and new notice boards and signs around the school. We're also welcoming our new year 10 Captains to SRC, and look forward to their contributions to the school!!

A reminder that tomorrow is the Year 12 Bake Sale on the screech at recess! Remember to bring some spare change to get yourself a yummy treat between $1-$3 🍰🎂🍩🍪🍭

This term we have a lot of exciting events to look forward to.
The next one is Fun Day-
An event run by students for students. There's still time to get your money and note in- hand it into the office before the Thursday the 11th!
We hope everyone's keeping up to date with what's going on in our school community and remembering to check the Blaxland High School website or Sentral page!

Tomorrow is Daffodil Day :D We'll be selling assorted goodies on the screech throughout the day to raise money for sufferers of all forms of cancer.

Tomorrow is also national "Wear it Purple" day in support of gender and sexual diversity. We'll be showing our support and you can too by wearing a purple accessory :)

Let's show our support for these worthy causes :)

The Fun Day was a massive success :D

We raised in excess of $3,500! Thank you to everyone who participated and to all those who had a hand in the organisation or running of the day.

Prizes will be handed out during the week 6 assembly :)

Tomorrow is the Fun Day!

DJ Exoflex will be pumping the tunes from dusk till dawn (almost) :D

It's a full school m***i day! I won't reveal the year 12 theme but I will say this - anyone who makes a bad pun on the day might find themselves in the custardy of year 12 ;)

Monday's PBL draw will be extra awesome! We'll be giving away two JB Hi-Fi vouchers as well as two canteen vouchers!

You've gotta be in it to win it so when you get four blue awards, take them to any head teacher and they'll put your awards in the box. They'll even give you a bronze award for your troubles :D

Unfortunately the Fun Day has been postponed until next term due to bad weather :'(

Tomorrow will still be a m***i day though :D If you've already paid your $10 for the Fun Day then you don't need to bring a gold coin donation for m***i. Otherwise, you'll still need to bring a donation.
