Today in Italy we celebrate Festa del Papà, and because we are proudly bilingual, we get to celebrate twice ✨
Two languages, two cultures, two special occasions to say thank you 🙌

From the Parents & Friends Group, we wish a very happy Festa del Papà to all father figures in our community — dads, nonni, stepdads, caregivers, mentors, and anyone who supports, guides and loves our children every day 💫

🎭✨ What a fantastic night at our Carnevale-themed Welcome BBQ! ✨🎭

Last week we kicked off the school year with a joyful and energetic evening full of laughter, smiles and community spirit! 🥳 Families and friends came together to celebrate Carnevale with colourful masks, fun games, exciting raffles and delicious food. 🍔🎟️🎭

It was a beautiful opportunity to connect and reconnect with our wonderful community and start the year in the best possible way. 💛

A huge THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers 🙌 and to everyone who came along and embraced the fun. Events like this are possible because of you!

💛 Giving Back Together

On Tuesday night, the P&F, joined by a few IBS students, headed down to Martin Place to serve dinner to people in need. Among the food were the delicious Bite Size biscuits specially purchased by the P&F for the occasion. 🍪💕

With this beautiful activity, we bring our intense year of work to a meaningful close. 🙏✨

A huge thank you to the IBS staff for their support, to all the volunteers who generously gave their time, and to every parent and caregiver whose contributions made our fundraising efforts such a success. 🌟💐

And with tonight, the P&F committee of 2023 concludes its year.

A small group of IBS students served panettone, from our last fundraiser, to more than 60 homeless and people in need. This was made possible only thanks to the support and dedication of our community.

It's been a year filled with activities: we've been busy crafting during the Mad Hatter's workshop, chatting at the Mother’s Day meetup, buying at the Mother’s and Father’s Day stall, reusing at the swap party and singing at the end of the year soirée.

We've reached the goals set for this year and we are incredibly grateful for the parents' commitment to support the school community.

A special thanks to Carla Cinque, Kristie Cuna, Kristine Abate, Zoe Zeng, Arianna Lucini, Karen Cantali, Nadia Arba, Milena Santalucia, Michelle Marsi, Rebecca Young, Sue Ellen Ceccatini, Olina Wang, Jennifer Bermudez, T**i Animato for their hard work in creating costumes for the end-of-year musical. What a success!

It's been an amazing and rewarding year, and there's more to come! See you in 2024!
