Rare selfie alert.
I’m much more comfortable behind the easel than in front of the camera, but apparently people like to know there’s an actual human attached to the paintings.
So here I am with my studio manager, whose responsibilities include sleeping through meetings, ignoring deadlines, and occasionally inspecting artwork from a comfortable distance. 🐶
Behind us are a few works in progress. Painting remains my favourite way to connect with the world—through colour, wildlife, landscapes, and the stories hidden within them. If a rare selfie helps people connect with the art, then I suppose my manager and I can make the occasional appearance.
Now, back to the painting.
