REBIRTH OF A NATION – The Uprising of 1821
ΕΝΑ ΕΘΝΟΣ ΞΑΝΑΓΕΝΝΙΕΤΑΙ - Ο ξεσηκωμός του 1821
Join us as we commemorate and celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Greek Independence.
This unique stage event is the first of its kind in Australia and is based on a true story of heroism, bravery, faith, and the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire in 1821.
Enjoy glorious visions of Greek heroes and unforgettable music which depicts the battle, the struggle, laughter and freedom through storytelling and dance. Dressed in vibrant and authentic Greek & Ottoman costumes, our dancers will transform the stage into a theatrical experience depicting one of the most important events in Greek history.
This special event has been endorsed by the Auspices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and His Eminence Makarios of Australia, will be attending on the night.
