Yesterday's event was a reminder of just how much there is to discuss when it comes to literacy - and how vital those discussions are. Thank you to everyone who joined us 📚

We were fortunate to be joined by Gabrielle Mace, whose expertise in literacy ecosystems brought a compelling and thought-provoking dimension to the conversation. Gabrielle challenged us to look beyond individual reading habits and consider the broader systems - families, schools, and communities - that shape literacy outcomes for young people.

Together, we explored the critical importance of literacy in today's world, the role meaningful dialogue plays in driving change, and the key insights from our Magic of 15 Minutes report - a powerful reminder that dedicating just 15 minutes a day to reading can have a profound and lasting impact.

We look forward to continuing the conversation!

What happens when you look beyond academic results to truly understand each learner?

At The Southport School Preparatory, combining cognitive ability data (CAT4) with student wellbeing insights (PASS) has transformed the way teachers understand, support, and challenge their boys.

The results? Students who once went unrecognised are now thriving. Confidence has grown. Mindsets have shifted. And performance has followed.

This is what a Whole Student Approach looks like in practice.
