TRAINING & EXERCISING
The main differences & which one is going to get you the best results
Exercising : circuits like F45, boot camps, crossfit, burner, (doing things in an untracked and random way)
- it will help you burn energy
- it is great for health & to stay fit
- but it will not change your physique on its own & it will not get you the optimal results you want.
Why?
Because the the amount of sets and reps & the weights that you are using depends on how motivated you are at the time.
So if you want more than that, you need to be training!
Training :
- is a systematic effort to improve on each session and to increase your output
- by training we are applying progressive overload to the body which forces it to change. That is the only way to guarantee that you will get stronger/better
- the mindset as well is completely different, as it’s long term.
If you want personal mastery and a transformation that lasts, you need a program that you stick to & you need to use the principle of progressive overload.

A few reasons why you are training & not getting results :
- the exercise selection isn’t the best
- the volume per muscle group isn’t optimal : either not enough volume OR too much volume (= when each extra set is causing more damage that your body can repair before your next session)
- you don’t push hard enough (0-2 Reps In Reserve)
- you go to failure on each set
- your lifestyle (nutrition, sleep, stress…)
