Spell That Word is an educational game tool that helps kids spell and familiarise themselves with common words, based on school curriculum sight words for kindergarten, year 1, and year 2. This will help them enhance their skills in spelling and reading sight words that they normally encounter at school. As parents, we want our kids to be able to read their favorite books, or do their homework wit
h ease or peace of mind that they can do their activities at school. Kids being familiar with common words and practicing spell these words will surely help them get on top of their school activities. Spell That Word allows them to see, hear, and have a go spelling the words! A great way for them to learn as they are using their sense of sight, auditory, and memory. It also has help button so they don’t get stuck with the words and can continue learning without getting frustrated. We have made it so fun by carefully choosing the animations and sound effects! However, unlike most of the spelling tools in the market, we have deleted unnecessary animations to focus on what’s important which is the content to make the most out of the game! Over 1000 words that can be played and practiced spelling! Kids can go back and forth per level depending on their choice. We understand that it may need a few times for kids to see the sight words hence some of the very common words may appear on twice or a few times on the gameplay.

Sight words are to be taught to augment the phonics method of teaching. Once the child gets familiar with the sight words, it makes reading much easier so the child can then focus her attention on reading and understanding the more complex words.
Spell That Word is inspired by the combination of Dolch and Fry high-frequency sight words which when learned allow them to read around 50%-75% of words used in children's books!
