🌟On Tuesday 12th May, Surveying Careers hosted it’s Sydney Surveying Unleashed event at Strathfield Golf Club welcoming 60 students from 13 different schools for an exciting day of hands-on learning and industry engagement.
⚒️Students explored a variety of surveying equipment through practical activities, participated in interactive indoor sessions, and connected with industry professionals through valuable networking opportunities throughout the day.
🔸The event generated strong enthusiasm among attendees, with many students expressing interest in undertaking future work experience within the surveying industry.
🙏A special thank you to all volunteers and sponsors; AusSearch, Beveridge Williams, CMS SURVEYORS, Institution of Surveyors NSW (ISNSW) Cumberland Regional Group, LTS Surveyors and SDG for their support and helping make the event the success that it was.
🏆A special mention to our premium sponsor She Maps , who generously supplied the grand prize; a classroom microdrone kit awarded to Girraween High School. This enables students and teachers to further incorporate surveying and spatial learning activities into the classroom.
