Please contact IACA with questions or if you are the PI and wish to update information about your trial. The goal with this database is to facilitate scientific exchange, aid in enrollment, and spark interest in clinical trials in our space.

Oppose CMS' Proposed Anesthesia Conversion Factor Cuts
In the 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule proposed rule, CMS has proposed to arbitrarily apply a 2% cut to the practice expense and malpractice adjustment portion of the anesthesia conversion factor. Offering little explanation of how this cut was determined, the CMS proposal would reduce anesthesia’s allowed Medicare charges by more than $53 million.
Please urge CMS to withdraw this highly concerning and unjustifiable cut from the 2026 anesthesia conversion factor.
