✨The Marchigiano Institute for the Protection of Wines explains that Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi is made up of at least 85% Verdicchio grapes. This type of grape, capable of aging slowly while maintaining the sweetness of taste, allows Verdicchio to be included in the "Riserva" type, thus obtaining another seal of guarantee: the Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin. Precisely the characteristic longevity in aging makes Verdicchio much appreciated also by red wine lovers, for this reason the wine has earned the pleasant nickname of "red dressed in white".
