🎖️Gold Award-Winning Work🎖️

In the IOAI Practical Round, the Sydney team took on the challenge of creating a love story video using the AI engine Neural Frames. The team’s concept was simple yet profound: "Love is a moment, love is the seasons, love is eternal, and love is a memory." Their video impressed the judges and made it into the top 11 final list out of 45 submissions.

Remarkably, the Australian national team became one of the few teams to have projects using both MidJourney and Neural Frames selected for the final list. Their dual success culminated in winning the prestigious gold award.

Congratulations to the team for this extraordinary achievement!

🎖️Gold Award-Winning Work🎖️
In the recent IOAI Practical Round, the theme was "love," and the challenge was to design an album cover for the renowned Bulgarian singer Maria Ilieva, following detailed requirements. The Australian National Team(Sydney) felt confident they met every criterion perfectly. Out of 45 teams, they made it into the final list of 11, showcasing their creativity and skill. They were one of the few teams to use a "two-shot" composition, displaying advanced prompt control in MidJourney.

Interestingly, the MidJourney course was first introduced in NewAI classes in April 2023. The competition took place exactly one year later, proving that long-term preparation and cutting-edge exploration are the secrets behind the team’s success. Their remarkable 1/4 success rate in making the final list laid the foundation for their gold award victory. 🏅

Congratulations to the team for their outstanding achievement!

At the recently concluded International Olympiad in AI (IOAI), the Australian Sydney team proudly clinched the gold award in the Practical Round. However, the awards ceremony saw a mix-up, with South Australia being announced as winners. After a two-minute correction, the error was clarified, and the Sydney team was rightfully recognized as the gold medalists.

In a remarkable display of Olympic spirit, the Sydney team members chose to share their joy by gifting their awards to the South Australia team members. This generous act allowed more Australian teammates to bask in the victory, standing together at the pinnacle of international achievement.

Congratulations to all the students and teachers involved—your dedication and sportsmanship have made us all proud! 🌟 Here's to more success in the future as we continue to reach for the top! ⛰️

Robots? Drones? Coding? What does STEM education look like for first-timers, especially if they're only primary school-aged children?

Hosted by the non-profit organisation - Australian STEM and Robotics Advanced Association and organised by Newai. The Open Day for the Tactile Robotics For Youth (TRY) Competitions launched successfully on April 3 2022 at Summer Hill Education Centre.

Over 110 K-6 students from all across Sydney attended this event. They actively participated and highly engaged in all the hands-on activities including Robot AI racing, Drone flying and coding etc. Each participant was given the opportunity to interact with the robots, drones and coding for the very first time! What a fantastic Play to Learn experience, and isn't it amazing to see how much they have achieved in just one day!
