It's Plastic Free July! It's a great time to think about your plastic use and build new habits ๐๐
There are loads of easy ways to avoid using single use plastics, from reusable coffee cups to bringing your water bottle with you rather than buying a new disposable one, or packing your food in a reusable container instead of cling film. ๐ฏ
All cafes at UTS accept reusable coffee cups, and there are water filling stations all over campus, on most levels and in every kitchen. ๐ง

The Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings assesses 1,603 universities globally for their progress towards achieving the United Nationsโ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ๐
UTS again performed strongly in this yearโs ratings, placing equal 63rd in the world and equal 10th in Australia. We also rose to 17th in the world for SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and equal 29th in the world for SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation ๐
This reflects the many ways UTS is driving social and environmental impact - and we couldnโt do it without our incredible staff, students, partners and community ๐
