One thing everyone at Kids Kingdom Learning is passionate about is celebrating and learning about the many cultures within our community.

Last week, our educators and children were encouraged to dress in something that represented their culture. Throughout the day, we explored traditions from around the world, cooked foods from different cultures, and participated in a range of creative experiences.

Our Pre-Kinder children spent Tuesday morning at Greg’s Farm in Bonnie Brook, meeting the chickens, learning about daily farm life, and discovering where our eggs come from. We enjoyed a healthy fruit snack and even took some eggs back to kinder provided by the farm. A memorable hands-on experience filled with curiosity, discovery, and smiles!

Our Pre-Kinder children have recently shown a strong interest in shopping role play and cooking. To extend on this interest, we visited Woolworths and gave the children the opportunity to shop for the ingredients needed for a recipe they would later prepare together.

This experience provided a meaningful, hands-on learning opportunity, allowing the children to explore the real-life process of how food makes its way from the store to our table.
