Introducing Hang Gliding royalty.
Rory (Rooster) Duncan, continuing his family’s legacy. Everyone would know the Duncan’s contribution to our sport with a former World Championship and innovation and evolution of our sport.

Hi, I’m Rory Duncan, 32 years old and proud to be representing Australia at the upcoming Hang Gliding World Championships in Spain. Flying has been in my blood for generations — I’m a third-generation hang glider pilot and have been in the air for over half my life.

This will be my third time competing at the Worlds, and I’m more passionate than ever about the sport. When I’m not chasing thermals, I’m working in the light aviation industry, running a gyrocopter flight training and maintenance facility at Lake Macquarie.

I’m stoked to be flying alongside such a talented Aussie team, and I’m heading to Spain with high hopes for a strong result — both for myself and for Australia. Let’s go!
