Murray ACE is a Learn Local RTO aiming to offer flexible learning experiences to the community.

Murray Adult & Community Education (Murray ACE) is a community owned not for profit learning centre providing relevant courses for the regional community since 1984. Business, schools, jobseekers, individuals and groups utilize the services that Murray ACE provides. Our courses are intended principally for adults, including general, vocational, basic and community education, and recreation, leisur

e and personal enrichment programs. We also provide Certificate in General Education for Adults – CGEA, usually with emphasis on the literacy, numeracy and social skills needed to function within the community or to gain employment. Many of the courses are Nationally Accredited, therefore certificates you gain from these are recognised throughout Australia.

🎨 Can You Help Us Find the Families of These Artists?

Murray ACE is looking to reconnect several beautiful oil paintings with the families or friends of the artists who created them.

These artworks were once part of The Dowling House Permanent Collection and are no longer required. Rather than have them remain in storage, we would love to return them to those who may cherish them most.

We are looking for family members or friends of the following artists:

🖼️ Lily Hutchings
🖼️ Ruth Watson

We also have a portrait of Mr Dowling, painted by John Flexmore in 1970, and would love to hear from anyone who may have a connection to the artist or the Dowling family
