Electric Hot Water Tanks
Hot water tank has been on the leading frontline of the heating of water for many years. Electric hot water is effective for different types of dwellings ranging from units to regular homes, but for many years the electric hot water systems can have unexplained faults. That said, there are only two issues related to the actual electric hot water unit that can be the problem of a blown fuse, tripped circuit breaker or no hot water, theses are the thermostat or the element.

Power Outages
Have you ever had your fridge, wifi or even more noticeable the tv turn off at the same time for no reason? This would be most likely depending on the switchboard setup, a circuit breaker which has switched to the off position or a blown fuse wire in the old ceramic fuse holders in the main switchboard. This problem could be a range of issues from rats eating through a wire to a broken washing machine and other appliances.
Although confusing at first, sometimes a power outage can occur where theres been a fault with a power pole near your house or a substation in your zone. To narrow whether it is a fault with your switch board simply turn the lights on, if they can be turned on, in most cases there is an issue with a tripped circuit. One other way would be to hop on the internet to look up your service provider to see if there’s any outages in your area.
