🐦🔍 Our Bradman Road Menai children have become avid bird watchers, creating their own binoculars to explore the centre backyard and bush kindy in search of birds.

🎨 Fauna Place's famous artwork exploration continues, with children discovering the vibrant work of Alma Thomas. Inspired by her unique artistic style, they created colourful masterpieces using bright colours, colour blocking, and repeated brushstroke patterns.

🐞 Fauna Place's new giant bug resources inspired an exciting transformation of the sandpit into 'Bug Land'. The children took the lead in designing the play space, thoughtfully moving materials and furniture to create homes and habitats for their bug friends.

📣 We're in the news! Congratulations to our Fauna Place centre - a finalist in the 2026 Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards for their 'Feeling Safe' program. Feeling Safe was created for the children and by the children, reflecting their real experiences through artwork, storytelling and open conversations.

🚗 Ready, set, go! As part of Early Learning Matters Week, the children at Fauna Place explored ramps, speed and distance through their love of car play. They predicted outcomes, tested ideas and developed mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.

🦷 It's Dental Health Week! The Caldarra Avenue Engadine children are exploring ways to keep their teeth clean and healthy. We've loved seeing family photos of dentist visits and toothbrushing routines at home too. Building confidence and lifelong healthy habits!
