Today our Waratah Street Cronulla children proudly said thank you to our local firefighters for Thank a First Responder Day 🚒 There’s always great excitement when our local heroes visit, especially with their fire truck! The children loved learning about fire safety and how firefighters keep our community safe.

Our Caldarra Avenue children reflected on the Dharawal people’s connection to whales, or Burr Burra, creating a large whale artwork and deepening their understanding of culture, storytelling, and connection to land and sea.

As we mark the beginning of National Reconciliation Week, our Bradman Road children this week ventured out for their regular Bush Kindy excursion and created an Acknowledgment of Country sign.
Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday curriculum supports children to build respect, understanding and connection to Country.
