Groove of the week : Funky Finger Trap by Andrew Morris. Various Slap techniques in open E Dorian thrown together to create a line I could barely play as I haven’t slapped for years. You can practice each two bar phrase on its own with a metronome until you get it under your fingers. Feel free to throw these sliding licks in any open E funk tune that is minor or dominant.
