A great PD Conference on Writing is now open for bookings for teachers and teacher-librarians. Payments not due until Feb next year.

Creating Creative Writers is a one-day PD conference, which will bring together teachers, librarians and 21 of Australia’s finest children’s authors and illustrators to focus on ways to develop enthusiastic, confident young writers. Speakers include Tim Harris, Deborah Abela, Susanne Gervay, Meredith Costain, James Foley, Claire Saxby, Sue Whiting, Liz Anelli, Sarah Davis, Yvette Poshoglian, Jodie Wells-Slowgrove and Marjorie Crosby-Fairall. The aim of the day is to leave attendees with a renewed enthusiasm for how to teach writing and illustration with fun, practical activities that can be implemented in their classrooms.

SCBWI is endorsed to provide the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient Teacher.
