By over directing and creating a more seamless angle within your foil you’re less likely to have a harsh or straight line or colour and create a more beautiful blend and shape.

Over-highlighting is one of the most common mistakes made in hair colouring. When creating a dimensional result, it’s important to understand that more foils doesn’t always mean better colour. Strategic placement is what creates depth, contrast, longevity, and a more seamless grow out.
Every foil should have intention behind why it’s being placed and what it’s contributing to the overall result. When working in halves and starting from the front it’s easier to visualise how you want your colour to end up and avoid over highlighting 🤍✨
