A big congratulations to Dean Johnsun (Year 12) for receiving the 2024 Minister's Award for Excellence in Student Achievement, presented to him by the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Prue Car, at the Sydney Town Hall. Well done Dean on your very well-deserved prize for ongoing commitment in such a wide range of endeavours!

'Flying Higher' is a bi-annual integrated publication, involving our school's major stakeholders. It aims to engage with the whole school community, which helps to make Sydney Boys High the unique school that it is. It connects current students, families, staff, Old Boys, and supporters by highlighting all the activities occurring in the school and across the myriad of governance bodies, committees, and support groups that make up the High school family. Congratulations to Ethan Yuze Li who competed at the 2022 NSW CHS Golf Championships in Yamba over 3 days playing 54 holes. There were 12 competing associations - NSWCC, NSWCIS, Hunter, North Coast, North West, Riverina, South Coast, Sydney East, Sydney North, Sydney SW, Sydney West & Western. Over 100 players from NSW participated in this yearly all schools event. The Sydney East Team achieved 2nd place. Go HIGH!
