Don't forget the first local group gathering of 2016 is this Sunday 2-4pm at the Pyrmont Community Center (Mount Street). We will be welcoming all our newly arrived hosted students as well as welcoming back our 2015 exchange students! Look forward to seeing you all there!

AFS is running a special campaign for our AFS returnees to refer a friend to our programs. For any student who you refer and who goes on a program in 2016, we'll send you a $100 Visa gift card. No catches, no clauses...we just want you to talk to other students and tell them about the fantastic time…

Are you interested in a taste of hosting? Two AFS "Volunteer Abroad" participants (doing the volunteer program not student program) who are currently hosted in Tasmania are hoping to experience a week on "The Mainland" if your family is interested in hosting one (or both) they would like to come from 26th September to 5th October.
