Given it’s Pride Month — an opportunity to celebrate LGBTIQA+ visibility and equality — we thought we’d take a step back in time to remember Federation’s 2018 Mardi Gras float for today’s Throwback Thursday post.

Our float that year celebrated our centenary and Mardi Gras’ 40th anniversary.

The images you see here were displayed on our float and depict Federation’s involvement in LGBTIQ-related campaigns and events as well as support of members and students from diverse sexuality and gender over the 40 years.
