This is a preview: I have overlaid a mound map of Indiana with my research map of Indiana. I strongly believe that Indiana also has giants in every county, like Ohio does. The mounds are the most ancient grave sites. The orange are done, the light orange im not satisfied but it will not keep me from going to print. The wite counties are the ones i have nothing for yet. As you can see Benton and Miami counties look like they might be the most challenging, but remember these are also very close to where i live, so i can visit those sites. It may be premature to talk about the next project when we are in the infancy of of "OHIO, 88 Counties of Giants".

This one is a bit painful, >ouch<
While researching for another state i ran across this article, surely it is in my book. In Licking county, OHIO. I have an eight footer, 3 7 footers and a tall 6. Which is actually pretty good! There is not one healthy 8 footer on our planet, the 3 8 footers alive today all are that way because of a tumor. 7 footers occur 1 in 2.3 million, so three of them is nothing short of groovy.
However, it pales in comparison to 4 nine footers. So four 9 footers did NOT! make it into my book! Did NOT! MAKE IT. So i penned it in my personal copy.

While doing research on another state I almost missed an account of a gant 6 foot 11 inches. Skeletons are porous so they lose up to 3 inches. So in life, this person was about 7'2".
However the article was not about a human, it was about a Mammoth, a big hairy hippie elephant.
Usually when my key words betray me and i see the word Mammoth there is no need to read the article. I just happened to read this one and i almost missed this human giant.
