SMUDGE IS POPPING UP IN RICHMOND 🩵
Just for the Winter school holidays, we’re bringing a second Smudge studio to Burnley Backyard.

It’s going to be the best two weeks of messy hands and open ended making, in a beautiful new space!

Why is installation art my forever favourite? Because kids deserve more than paper and tidy tables!
They need walls and corners and floor space. Room to move their bodies and build and explore and to make something together!

Plus installation art offers an incredible lesson for us adults. Step back and watch how freely kids create without our instructions or templates or interference. The joy of freedom!

MOTHER’S DAY WORKSHOPS
It was the most glorious day / night on Friday! We shared Smudge with sisters, mums, friends, daughters.
The paint was flowing and I loved every second.

Thank you for spoiling all the artists with goodies and making our studio feel so special.
And all the incredible women for joining in the fun!

MOTHER’S DAY CLASSIC 🌸
We had the most incredible time on Sunday at Melbourne’s ! It was such a privilege to create the Flower Garden installation and welcome everyone into our colourful world.

For anyone who doesn’t know, this national event raises much needed money and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer research. A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in the day, running, walking, volunteering, fundraising, cheering and supporting!
And the biggest thank you to my family for helping bring my idea to life 🌷

Our incredible friend was an ambassador again this year, and has also started her own charity to bring some joy to the lives of cancer patients and their families 💜
