What a fantastic game today as our teachers took on the students in an exciting basketball match!

The students played with great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, keeping the teachers on their toes from start to finish. While the teachers managed to secure the win this year, the students put up a tough fight and should be incredibly proud of their effort.

From comparing lengths and heights to using informal units to measure everyday objects, students worked together to estimate, measure, and record their discoveries. Hands-on learning helped build confidence, problem-solving skills, and mathematical thinking in a fun and engaging way.

What an incredible day of teamwork, sportsmanship and school spirit at our 3/4 AFL Gala Day! Thank you to our Year 6 House leaders for taking on the coach and umpire responsibilities and to our parent helpers who assisted and organised the rotations.
