On Thursday 3 September and Friday 4 September, 14 year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to work with three music industry professionals in a two day song writing workshop.

Industry experts Demi Louise, Yeo and Beatrice Lewis attending Sunshine College and gave our students information about the music industry, facilitated in a song writing workshop and recorded a demo of the students original songs.

Our talented students left the incursion with a professional recording of their own original songs.

A few of the SongMakers bands will be performing their original songs at MADD day out on Friday 16 October - we can't wait to see you there!

Build & Bond Day is a unique father-and-son* STEM challenge where participants work together through a series of exciting activities including robotics, drones, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.

The event focuses on teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and creating meaningful family connections through technology.
