For years now we have been wanting to level up our Jiu Jitsu and after a very long search we have found the dream team! ⁣
⁣
We would like to introduce you to our new head coach Dejan Koneski. A seasoned Australian Elite Team 2nd dan black belt trained by Dave Weston from Invictus gym that is a people’s person with a passion for teaching. ⁣
⁣
A Pan Pacific Champion, 3 time Australian Champion, Victorian Champion, 2 time Arnold Classic gold medallist and 2 time Grappling Tournament Champion known for his technical approach and fostering a positive and disciplined training environment where students can develop confidence, skill, and a deeper understanding of the art. ⁣

As an instructor, Dejan emphasizes strong fundamentals, practical application, and continuous improvement.⁣
⁣
Another huge boost for our Jiu Jitsu program is having Emily Svrzlić from Australian Elite Team headquarters joining the Tsar FC coaching team. ⁣
⁣
Emily has 20 years experience in Jiu Jitsu and is a black belt under professor Ninos Dammo. She is a multiple time Victorian, Australian and Pan Pacific champion and the Current Victorian black belt open weight champion. Emily will start a female only class and also be teaching general classes soon. ⁣
⁣
Assisting both Dejan and Emily will be Johnathan Tran who is a high level brown belt with 11 years training and is on the tail end of achieving his black belt. ⁣
⁣
Dejan and Emily will be a creating a teaching program that will produce the highest level of Jiu Jitsu seen at Tsar FC with more classes, more passion and camaraderie! ⁣
