Gold and Bronze Success at the 2026 Paddle Queensland School Marathon Championships! πΆ
Congratulations to Ruby and Ava, Year 12 students, who proudly represented their school at the 2026 Paddle Queensland School Marathon Championships.
Competing at Lake Samsonvale, Ruby and Ava delivered an outstanding performance, claiming Gold Medals and 1st place in the U18 6km Double Kayak Race. π₯π₯
Adding to the success, Ruby also earned a Bronze Medal in the U18 6km Individual Race, showcasing her determination and skill across multiple events. π₯
These achievements are a testament to the girlsβ hard work, dedication, and commitment to their sport. The Chancellor State College community is incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the way they represented the school on the state stage.

βοΈ What an incredible day of chess for Chancellor!
On Monday, 12 Secondary and 23 Primary students proudly represented Chancellor at the Term 2 Sunshine Coast Inter-School Chess Competition, achieving outstanding results across all divisions.
A huge congratulations to our Secondary B Team, who claimed 1st place, and to our Primary teams, who secured multiple impressive 2nd place finishes. π
We also celebrate the many students who earned individual merit ribbons through their excellent performances. A special shout-out goes to our enthusiastic Year 2β3 students, many of whom were competing in their very first chess tournament and represented the school with confidence, determination and great sportsmanship.
Well done to all competitors for showcasing strategic thinking, resilience and teamwork throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of your achievements! βοΈπ

πΆπ What an incredible day at the Fanfare Regional Finals! ππΆ
The Regional Finals were a wonderful celebration of outstanding music-making across Sunshine Coast state schools, and our four Chancellor ensembles certainly rose to the occasion!
π Primo Strings delivered a beautiful performance and were awarded Most Outstanding Performance β Primary Section. An outstanding achievement and one we are incredibly proud of!
π We also congratulate our Primary Wind Ensemble, Secondary Strings, and Wind Symphony on their emotive, polished, and musically stunning performances. Every ensemble represented our college with excellence, passion, and pride.
A special thank you to Ms Lutherborrow and Ms Risby-Jones for their exceptional leadership and dedication to our music program.
None of this happens without an amazing support team. Thank you to our staff, IM team, accompanists, families, and supporters who continue to champion our young musicians every step of the way.

Well, thatβs a wrap! Congratulations to the cast, crew and staff involved in the Charlie & The Chocolate Factory musical on a hugely successful show.
After many months of hard work from students and staff it was great to see this magical show come to life over the long weekend.
Working with this group of students has been a privilege and huge shout out to our dedicated staff across many subject areas and our Creative Industries team.
Lastly a big thank you to the families of our cast and crew for supporting them to be part of this production.
