We are excited to announce that we are in the early planning stages for an End of Year Europe Tour in 2027, open to students who will be in Years 10–12 in 2027.

Students will have the opportunity to experience history firsthand by visiting:
• Rome and the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and surrounds
• Pompeii - the ancient city buried in ash
• Paris and its iconic landmarks and WW2 history
• The WWI Western Front battlefields in Northern France
• Berlin's WWII historical sites
• Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland

This incredible tour aims to deepen students' understanding of history while creating lifelong memories.

Parents and carers should check their emails for more information, including preliminary details about costs, proposed timings and the expression of interest process.

🎶 What an amazing four days! 🎶

A huge congratulations to our 31 outstanding Chancellor Primary Instrumental Music students who represented our school at the SCIMEP camps this week! 🌟

🎶 13 students — Advanced Camp
🎺 9 students — Wednesday Intermediate Camp
🎶 7 students — Thursday Intermediate Camp

Our students joined young musicians from 30+ schools across the region, working together in string orchestra and concert band to create an incredible concert program — all in just a few days!

We are so incredibly proud of their musicianship, teamwork and commitment. 👏🎶
Congratulations to all our amazing young musicians! 💙

It has been a busy month of racing for Kirrily.

Representing Chancellor State College at the Sunshine Coast Schools Competition, with more than 350 students competing, Kirrily successfully defended her title for the third consecutive year, taking out the win.

Kirrily followed this up with another Enduro victory in Ipswich last week, before continuing her strong form this past weekend by securing her third Queensland Downhill Series win of the season, competing in the Senior Elite Women’s category.

Kirrily now continues to prepare for the final races of the 2026 season, with several major events still ahead. These include the Australian Schools Championships in NSW, the final round of the Queensland Downhill Series on the Gold Coast, and the Sea Otter Pro race also in NSW.

It has been an outstanding season so far, and Kirrily is looking forward to finishing the 2026 racing calendar strongly.

📚✨ Book Week 2026 – What a Wonderful Week! ✨📚

A huge thank you to all our students, teachers, staff, Library team and families who have embraced Book Week and supported our Leukaemia Foundation Donation Drive. 💛

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have several boxes of goodies ready to be delivered to the accommodation village where families stay while their children undergo cancer treatment. 🧸📚🎁

Our College has also raised hundreds of dollars in donations to support the Leukaemia Foundation. Every contribution makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the wonderful support shown by our Chancellor community. 💛

And, of course, we have to mention the sensational costumes today! 👑🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️📖 From favourite characters to creative and imaginative creations, our students certainly brought their love of books to life!

🚗💦 Soap, suds and student success! 💦🚗

Our Year 12 Certificate III in Events students wrapped up their final project for 2026 in style with a hugely successful car wash last Friday!

Not only did they gain valuable real-world event management experience, but they also raised almost $600 towards the Year 12 Legacy Project.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who rolled through for a wash, donated, or cheered the students on. Your support helped turn a great idea into a fantastic community event.

We are so proud of the teamwork, professionalism and enthusiasm shown by our students throughout the project.
