On 21 August, our Mooloolaba State School netballers had a fantastic day competing in the Sunshine Coast Lightning Cup.
Representing our school as Mooloolaba Lightning and Mooloolaba Thunder, the students played approximately seven games throughout the day. With more than 40 teams competing in their pool, our Lightning team achieved an impressive fifth- and our Thunder team achieved an amazing seventh-place —an outstanding achievement!
The students should be incredibly proud of the teamwork, determination and wonderful sportsmanship they displayed both on and off the court.
A big thank you to Mr G for supporting and organising the teams, and to our wonderful families who helped with scoring, cheering and packing down the marquee at the end of the day.
Most importantly, thank you to our students for giving every game their best effort, encouraging one another and representing Mooloolaba State School so proudly. What a fantastic day of netball! 💙💛
