We're excited to share the invitation to join us for our Kadara Kids Term 3 Capoeira Course at Sunny Coast Capoeira Academia, 1/12 Kelly Court, Buderim.

Classes kick off on Sunday 19th July and run each Sunday at 10am.
*Please note there is no class on Father's Day Sept 6th.

These sessions are perfect for primary school-aged children, whether they're trying Capoeira for the first time or already have some experience. We tailor the classes so everyone stays engaged, challenged and having fun—no matter their starting point.

Each week includes music, singing, dance, acrobatics, kicks, escapes and plenty of play. Everything's taught in a relaxed, positive environment that encourages kids to express themselves and enjoy movement.

Capoeira began in Brazil as a way for enslaved Africans to preserve their culture and has since spread worldwide. Today it's a great way for kids to build confidence, improve coordination, develop body awareness and learn a culturally rich martial art while having a blast!

At the conclusion of the course, the children will put all their skills on display in a special Capoeira presentation at our End of Term Kids Roda.

Looking for a positive way to spend your Sunday morning?

Bring the kids, join the roda and connect with a community that loves movement, culture and good company. Our Kids Capoeira Course begins at 10am, followed by our Adults & Teens Open Class at 11am.

And because great Sundays shouldn't end too soon, we'll finish up with coffee and conversation at Riba Kai.
