This week at Buderim OSHC, we proudly celebrated National Reconciliation Week through meaningful conversations, creative experiences and learning together about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives. ❤️🖤💛

We are excited to welcome your children to our Winter Vacation Care program at Buderim OSHC! Please read the important information below to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable holiday period.

📌 Bookings
• Bookings are now split into 2 rooms only:
* Vacation Care (Prep–Year 2)
* Vacation Care (Year 3–Year 6)
• All bookings (service days, incursions & excursions) must be made in the correct year-level room via OWNA.
• Incorrect room bookings may be cancelled.
• If a day is full, please click the 🔔 bell icon in OWNA to join the waitlist notifications.
• Staff are unable to make bookings on behalf of families.

📌 Cancellations & Absences
• 1 week’s notice is required for cancellations to avoid charges.
• Please mark absences via the OWNA app as soon as possible.

📌 Food & Drink
• Morning tea and afternoon tea are provided daily.
• Children must bring:
* A packed lunch (preferably nut-free)
* A water bottle

📌 Clothing & Sun Safety
Please ensure children bring/wear:
• Enclosed shoes
• A wide-brim hat
• Sun-safe clothing
• Spare clothes (recommended)

We provide SPF 50+ sunscreen every 2 hours. If your child requires alternative sunscreen, please provide it to staff.

📌 Personal Devices
Children are not permitted to bring personal technology devices, including smart watches with messaging or camera functions.

📌 Excursions & Incursions
• Children must attend their allocated excursion group (Junior/Senior) and cannot remain at the service instead.
• Excursion permission forms must be completed in OWNA at the time of booking (Menu → Forms if needed).

📌 CCS & Statements
• Statements/invoices can be viewed in OWNA under Menu → Statements/Invoices.
• If your child has not attended for 13+ weeks, please check your CCS is still active.

AUTUMN 2026 VACATION PROGRAM OUT NOW! 😎☀️

Check out the program to see the fantastic array of activities, incursions and excursions in store at Buderim OSHC these Easter school holidays, including a visit to Aussie World and Inflatable World, an Easter party, a Bricks for Kids incursion, and more!

Here’s what you need to know about the program and how to get your kids into the action:
👉🏼 Bookings & Enrolments: To enrol, please visit our website (www.buderimoshc.org) to complete the digital enrolment form. To create bookings, please do so via the OWNA app.
👉🏼 Cancellations & Absences: 1 weeks' notice is required for the cancellation of days (without charge).
👉🏼 Food & Drink: The service will provide a light morning tea and afternoon tea, but children are required to bring a packed lunch (preferably nut free due to allergies within the service).
👉🏼 Clothing: Children are required to wear sun safe clothing; no singlets and midriff tops to be worn. Children are also to wear enclosed shoes while at the service and on excursions.
👉🏼 Finances and Childcare Subsidy (CCS): All financial information (including statements) is accessed via the OWNA app.
👉🏼 Excursions: If your child is booked on an excursion day, they must attend the excursion as we do not offer an alternative program at the service. A completed permission form is compulsory prior to attending any excursion.
