Originally named “Mickey”… until we realised “she” was actually a bloke.

After spotting him injured during one of our boat licence courses, we quickly realised we were way out of our depth… because apparently “how to catch a pelican” was not covered in the instructor handbook. 😂

So we called the experts — the amazing crew from Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue 🩵

Watching them calmly and professionally rescue him was incredible. These legends dedicate their lives to rescuing and rehabilitating seabirds across Queensland, and the work they do deserves all the support in the world.

Mike may have started the day with an identity crisis and a bad attitude… but he ended it in the best hands possible.

The Big Tuna Project 💙

This one means a lot.

We’re backing The Big Tuna Project in memory of Joel – a great bloke who left a lasting impact on the people around him.

This initiative is all about raising awareness for men’s mental health and supporting those who might be doing it tough, even if they don’t show it.

There’s an annual golf day coming up, along with opportunities to donate or grab some merch to support the cause.
