Our children have already started creating their hearts for Reconciliation week. They demonstrated a sense of wonder and inquiry when engaged in this activity and had confidence in their words and creativity 🫶🏻❤️🫶🏻

❤️ WE ARE ALL IN ❤️

This National Reconciliation Week, our OSHC will be taking part in the Sea of Hearts Movement — a beautiful community initiative focused on kindness, inclusion, belonging, and connection.

Over the coming weeks, our children will be creating hearts filled with messages, artwork, colours, and words that represent what community, respect, and caring for one another means to them.

But this is about more than just decorating hearts.

It’s about helping children understand that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, valued, and included. It’s about starting important conversations around kindness, empathy, culture, and community connection — not just within our OSHC, but throughout our wider community as well.

We would love for our families to join us by taking a heart template home, decorating it together, and returning it to help us create our very own Sea of Hearts display. ❤️

Together, we can show our children that even small acts of kindness and connection can create meaningful change.

Week 3 has been producing the goods!

The kids have been busy building real skills and confidence—cutting and sewing their own bags on Wednesday, progressing with Maddox from Chiggy’s Skateboarding and showing great resilience and coordination, and finishing the week with calming Friday morning yoga to support focus and wellbeing.

All activities are intentionally planned in line with the NQS, supporting child-led learning, wellbeing, and strong relationships through play, movement and creativity.

Proud of the growth we’re seeing each week!
