We are a service that caters for children aged from 6 weeks to school entry age. We offer a Kindergarten Approved Program that runs 52 weeks of the year and is run by a Bachelor Qualified teacher. We are open 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year and we only close for weekends as well as Queensland Public Holidays. Our Centre is located within the Northshore Village Shopping Centre, Pacific Paradise (Mudjimba)
We operate under the Early Years Learning Framework that has been set nationally as well as of course the National Quality Standards and we obtained a rating of Meeting the National Quality Standard. We also offer a service called StoryPark, which is a media platform that allows us to load stories, photos and videos of your child so that you can see them in real time so that you are kept up to date on your child’s knowledge, skills and interests. You can also load stories, pictures and videos of your child’s weekend and activities that you do outside of the service and we can try and extend and facilitate their learning here as well. This is a private service where only you can see your child’s information and not a third party. We provide nutritious and delicious meals, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack at 5pm - these are prepared off site and delivered fresh daily. We cater for individual dietary requirements like; Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian and other needs as well. We also provide nappies, wipes, sunscreen and mosquito repellent. The staff at this service are long term employees and so they all know all of the children at the service as well as all of the families from every room, with a low staff turnover rate. The staff are a wide range of ages and with a range of skill sets, knowledge where cultural diversity is embraced and incorporated into our daily practices. We feel that we try and embrace the multiple cultures in our local community where we try and acknowledge and observe the cultural needs of families and children in our service.
