🌹This Mother’s Day, I honour all mums with tenderness, gratitude, and love — the mothers carrying joy, the mothers carrying sorrow, the mothers who are walking through long and quiet battles, and the mothers who are simply doing their best, one day at a time.
😄 I have been a Mum for 43 years and it has been the biggest joy, challenge and the deepest learning I have expereinced. I have raised two incredable men and can actually say I am so proud of me. Even though in the past there were many days, I carried shame and frustration with myself, when the boys were growing up. We made it,yayyyyy.
😍Now I get to help parents everyday to find their way on their parenting journey. What a gift to share, with you all.
💐Motherhood is woven with laughter and tears, wonder and weariness, fierce love and quiet sacrifice. To the mums missing a child, feeling overwhelmed, or questioning whether they are enough, may you remember this: you do not have to carry everything alone. Reach for support when you need it. Even in the moments that feel messy or imperfect, your love is shaping a heart, a home, and a life that knows it is deeply cherished.
🌺So breathe deeply, soften where you can, and let some things wait. Pick your battles gently and make room for joy in the middle of ordinary moments. Sit on the floor, laugh loudly, be silly, and play — because in play, connection grows, little hearts feel safe, and even weary nervous systems can find their way back to calm.
🌟Remember there is only one of you, and as you are so busy wearing so many different hats, you need to be kind to you.
🌻Do your best to fill your cup, with whatever that takes; going to the toilet by yourself or having a quiet moment with a cuppa, or even better is making time to catch up with a dear friend who supports and nurtures you.
Happy Mother’s Day to every mum, in every season of motherhood. I honour and love you.💜🫶

Happy first day of school to so many of our precious children today.
What a cornucopia of feelings even for kids and let's not forget the parents 😂 who are returning to school.
😁Excitement
😱Trepidation
🤗Joy
😳Anticipation
😊Happy
😭Sad
😵💫Separation anxiety
The list goes on, and the thing is so many of these feelings can happen in a moment.
When you pick your child up, after hugs, I suggest you be the listener. Asking questions is great but sometimes especially our Preps need time to assess their day, the massive input of sensations being thrown on them all day.
Give them some time to download, to integrate, to express.
Offer them protein snacks and play with them, their child led games, as this is often the way they will express themselves from a sun conscious level.
Have fun, get down and get silly with them. Set a precedent of making time to play if only for 15 minutes every day. This creates more intimacy and safety in their lives. And it is good for your nervous system too.
Some kids need time to settle into new situations, so give you all a break and allow this new experience time.
If you would like some support at any time, please get in touch. I am here. 💜

🤩Wow today I was part of this amazing summit, and I heard and felt the wisdom of so many wonderful speakers.
🌟We all shared the same thread of love, empowerment, compassion and the importance of holding each other sacred in the world and encouraging people to step up into their own version of what leadership is for them.
🌟Whether you are an entrepreneur, business owner, parent, community leader, there is so much information, encouragement and beautiful, loving information shared within this summit.
🌟I am on screen talking about Being a Leader in parenting about 3/4 way through the video if you are interested in how I support parents in their leadership roles and assisting them in finding out what that means to them personally.
🌟I enjoyed all of the speakers and learnt so much myself it is a joy to share this opportunity with you.
Thank you to the Organizers and my fellow speakers, my heart is full and I am so grateful to have had this great opportunity. The list is long but I especially thank Jeffery Ross, and Jayde Winsley.
Check it out.💜

Note to all of you who are joining me tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM at my Event ‘’Sibling Shenanigans: The Art Rivalry and Reconciliation, on my event page. I have had a mini emergency.
When I set up the event for my Sibling Shenanigans I forgot to add live event so therefore the live video, may not work. After much frustration and having to have a firm talk with myself about not being a loser on social media and put on my big girl pants on, I have gone the way of less struggle and will present Sibling Shenanigans on my Arnaum Walkley page, if the Event page fails me.
I am sharing all of the information that I can give you on how to deal with sibling rivalry between your children. Even how to deal with sibling rivalry between perhaps you and your adult siblings, because I know so many adults who still have some pretty full-on sibling rivalry issues. What it all boils down to is communication, understanding, compassion and forgiveness. Also learning a lot of new skills about communicating and how to communicate in a different way.
So I apologise for the confusion and still look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning at 10.00 either through the event page which I will try first, otherwise we'll just be straight through my Arnaum Walkley page. So have a beautiful Sunday evening and I look forward to seeing your beautiful faces and hearing your questions and hoping that I can make a difference in helping and supporting you in creating harmony and peace and fun in your family’s life.
