Working with so many young creatives has been a massive highlight. Seeing students find their confidence on set and start thinking like filmmakers is the best feeling.

Hearing from parents that these programs have helped their kids gain confidence and come out of their shells has been next-level rewarding.

The thank-you notes and gifts sit pride and place in the pool room.

Big thanks to everyone involved and to all the students who’ve thrown themselves in and tried something new. Can’t wait to see what you create next and excited for what’s still to come before the year’s out! 💛

So excited to be working with this epic team tomorrow!

We’re proud to be collaborating with the talented team at Pluggas Studio 🎥

They bring the screen and media expertise, we bring the makeup and SPFX artistry..the perfect mix. Tomorrow marks the launch of First Flight, a beautiful short film that an incredible team of talented professionals have brought together. Our students will be on set creating the makeups, stepping up in a big way and gaining that invaluable experience of life on a film set.

Our SPFX educator, Trent, is also behind the special effects for this project, while working closely with the Pluggas crew on another production later this year.

This partnership feels like the beginning of something special blending the vision of Pluggas Studio the talent of Leigh Parker Leigh Parker Acting Studio and our artistry here at The Art of Makeup Society.

The Pluggas team are not only insanely skilled but also some of the most genuine, down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. We cannot wait to share more from First Flight and all the exciting projects ahead.
