🎨 PBL REWARDS DAY – COLOUR RUN! 🌈

We’re finishing the term with a splash of colour! Our PBL Rewards Day is a Colour Run on Friday 11 September! 🎉

Students are encouraged to wear clothing they don’t mind getting colourful and to bring a change of clothes for afterwards.

We can’t wait for a fun, colourful day celebrating our students and their achievements!

Our P–6 students had a great time at their swimming lessons today! It was wonderful to see everyone building their confidence in the water, developing important swimming and water safety skills and having plenty of fun along the way.

🎁 Father’s Day is just around the corner! 💙

Our wonderful P&C have been busy getting ready for Father’s Day, with plenty happening over the next few days!

🛍️ Father’s Day Stall – lots of great gifts for Dad, Grandad or another special person, with something to suit every budget.

🎟️ Father’s Day Raffle – tickets are just $2 each, with a fantastic prize up for grabs! The raffle will be drawn on 3 September.

🤝 P&C General Meeting – everyone is welcome to come along on Monday 7 September at 5:00pm at Palmview State Special School. It’s a great opportunity to get involved and support our school community.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ REGIONAL TRACK & FIELD – WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT! 🏅👏
Last week, across August 26 & 27, twelve incredible students proudly represented Palmview State Special School at the Regional Track & Field Championships at USC.

This was our first major Regional Track & Field event, and we could not be prouder! 💙❤️💛
Our students faced some fantastic competition, showed outstanding sportsmanship, gave every event their absolute best and represented our school amazingly. It was such an exciting experience for our athletes, staff and families, and we are already looking forward to doing it all again next year! 🌟

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to our 5 athletes who have been invited to represent our region at the QRSS State Championships in Brisbane early next term!
These boys qualified across multiple events:
⭐ Mason – 100m, 200m, 400m & Shot Put
⭐ Ben – 100m, 200m, Shot Put & Long Jump
⭐ Ezra – 100m, 200m & Long Jump
⭐ Zac – 100m, 200m & Long Jump
⭐ Koby – 100m

Your encouragement, care and support helped make this experience possible. ❤️
And we certainly can’t forget our amazing parents and families who came along to cheer, support their loved ones, help with setup and clean-up, and assist with everything in between. Your support is so valued and appreciated.

This coming week is Teacher Aide Appreciation Week, and here at Palmview State Special School we are incredibly fortunate to work alongside the most incredible team of TAs. 💙

Every day, our Teacher Aides bring an incredible mix of knowledge, skills, kindness, flexibility and care to their roles. They support, encourage, problem-solve, celebrate successes, step in wherever needed and play such an important part in helping our students learn, grow and thrive.

To our wonderful TAs: We see what you do, we value what you bring to our school and we appreciate you! 💙
