We’re looking for a wonderful Casual Teaching Assistant to join the Ready Set Prep team! 💛
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and is warm, caring, approachable, organised and, most importantly, reliable.
You’ll work alongside our teacher supporting our little learners aged 3–5 years as they build the skills and confidence they need for school.
This is a hands-on role that includes supporting children with their learning, preparing and organising resources, setting up the classroom, assisting with toileting, taking photos of our learning experiences and helping keep our classroom beautifully clean, organised and ready for each group.
📅 We specifically need someone available every Wednesday and Thursday throughout October
⏰ 9:15am–2:15pm
There may also be opportunities for additional casual relief days this term and next term when other members of our team are absent.
✨ We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience working with children in an education or learning setting
• Holds a current Queensland Blue Card
• Can commit to Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout October
• Is caring, patient and confident working with 3–5-year-olds
• Is organised, efficient and happy to take initiative
• Is dependable and punctual
• Enjoys being part of a small, supportive team
Experience supporting children with additional or diverse learning needs would be a wonderful advantage.
📚 Studying education? You’re very welcome to apply, but please note that this role won’t suit anyone completing a university teaching placement during October, as we need consistent Wednesday and Thursday availability throughout the month.
