Step Out Academy App for Bankfoot House – proudly supported by the Arts and Heritage Levy

A huge thank you to Sunshine Coast Council for believing in this vision and supporting the pilot launch at Bankfoot House.
This unique heritage-listed property, built in 1868, is the only remaining Cobb & Co coach stop between Brisbane and Gympie. The Step Out Academy app will guide visitors around the grounds and serve as an educational tool—bringing to life the stories of the family who lived there for three generations and offering a glimpse into what life was like in days gone by.

“Why? Why? Why?”
That’s the soundtrack in our house right now.

With two little ones, I sometimes lose count of how many questions I answer before breakfast. It’s relentless… but it’s also kind of magical. Every “why” stretches their brains, tests their ideas, and helps them make sense of the world.

The truth is: the “why” questions aren’t interruptions. They are the learning. Each answer builds trust, language, and reasoning. When we lean in, we nurture curiosity.

It’s exhausting, yes, but also the sweetest reminder: learning lives in the questions. 💡🌱
