I recently read a post if a friend, who suffered from drug addiction.

It was powerful.

For those who have never experienced this, especially parents, these sorts of stories are particularly important.

Why?
Because you never know when you come across someone who needs help. It could be your son, or your daughter. If you can’t see the symptoms, you will lose the opportunity to save that person.

In my educational book series, the Teeth of the Jungle, one of my kids is suffering because of his drug addicted parents.

I can’t wait to have the time to continue exploring Josh’s journey.

An exchange with a fellow traveler…

And perhaps an idea for Part3 of my Teeth of the Jungle book series? 😀

Finally started the translation of my Teeth of the Jungle book series.

First: Portugese.

For those who speak Portugese:
Your feedback is highly valuable.

It’s going to be a challenge to convey the countless metaphors and the use of carefully selected words with multiple meanings.

The title already proved challenging. 😀

My Teeth of the Jungle book series trailer is finally done.

It was only the matter of time...

I sold my house to trade stock options with a larger amount.

After nearly 14 months I am well ahead.

Note: The screenshot of a graph on my trading platform doesn't factor in that a couple of months ago I withdrew a chunk of money. Adding that to the current balance would push my results from 24% to 29%.

With Teeth of the Jungle in her hands, my daughter's friend asked her mother:

"They've got so much debt... How will they ever escape the Jungle?"

Her mother's reply?
"Life is like that. We have to pay mortgages, rents, taxes, bills... That’s our Jungle."

"It's only 'nowhere' to those who don't know how to see."
*** Quote from Teeth of the Jungle. ***

How often do we find ourselves blinded by
* ignorance,
* arrogance,
* lack of education,
* lack of experience,
* etc.
?

What if ‘nowhere’ is actually right in front of you - if only you knew how to see it?

"Mum, what's an entrepreneur?"

A young reader of Teeth of the Jungle told me:

"I didn't know what entrepreneur was, so my mum explained it..."

Mission accomplished.
My book series sparked another valuable parent-child conversation.

Families need more moments like this.

I Sold My House to Trade Stock Options?!

I took the ultimate financial risk >> sold my house and put everything into the stock market.

Silly? Reckless? Genius?

Maybe. Maybe not.

📖 A Lesson from Teeth of the Jungle 🌿🔥

With the book in her hands, my wife read aloud at the dinner table:

"You can't save everyone, Sina, but you can still make a difference without losing yourself in the process."

The moment was
>> a discussion starter,
>> a way to nurture real connections
>> in a classroom without boundaries.

What's your take on the above?

Dialogue from Teeth of the Jungle:

"Will you come with us?" one of the kids asked.
Her response:
"No... I'm too old for change now."

How often do we hear (or tell ourselves) something similar?
Excuses are easy. Change can be hard. But staying the same? That’s often a trap.
