What a fun weekend 🎉🫶🏽

It was a bit on the rainy and windy side of things but we attended both night markets & MET twilight markets

Many face paints including my some matching with their chosen rescue bear 🧸🤩

Trying to manage 3 jobs & a business is hard but it’s small moments like this that make it worthwhile.

$100 was donated from our lucky dips to Bat Rescue Sunshine Coast 🦇

Our teddy bear rescue program has also started again more consistently with 400+ toys diverted from landfill.

There are many projects I have coming in the future, small steps at a time all for our wildlife 🩵

Remember if you ever find an injured or sick bat, or a bat hanging close to the ground during daytime do not touch it ❌, call a wildlife rescue hotline instead 📞

As I have been doing some work around flying foxes it is only fitting that I share these pictures I took recently in Maleny at a nationally important roost site for the grey headed flying fox 🦇

Flying foxes are vital for pollination & keep our forests healthy meaning they help provide a food source and habitat for all our species & places for us to explore 🌳

Found an injured or sick bat? Do not touch it instead call your local rescue hotline and they will send a vaccinated and trained carer.

While I have had a great time at Cotton Tree it is time to mix it up and attend a few different markets while also working on some behind the scenes things to make an ever bigger impact with Earth Eyes.
