Congratulations to this amazing young man Teddy on achieving his junior black belt today in Brisbane. Teddy joined us in the Little Dragons when he was just 4 years old and now 7 years later he has completed the whole junior syllabus. An outstanding young man and role model. Being a black belt with us is just not about being able to kick and punch. It’s about being a good person who is willing to go that extra mile in life. Teddy has been a wonderful best friend to another one of our students who lost his mum 2 years ago and has been keeping him on track with his Kenpo. Am so happy and proud of you Teddy! Well done. An awesome achievement today. 🥳🥰👊🏻

Fabulous morning in Brisbane! First grading of the week for our kids. Always love handing out new belts for their achievements. Big shout out to Jacob who tested for that elusive black uniform and to Teddy who graded to junior Black belt (Seperate post for this guy) amazing standard as per usual and heaps of energy. Well done to everyone who tested. Huge call out to Matt,Jack and Darby who gave up their Saturday morning to be on the panel. Am sure they’ve gone home with multiple bruises today!

Congratulations to these two great men who represented our school at the Kenpo 5.0 Oceania Championships in Sydney last weekend. Nick and Jack accompanied Mr Woods, and not only competed but helped out with the judging. Nick had fantastic results with 1st place in Forms, 5.0 fighter and 5.0 Grappler divisions. Jack placed 2nd in forms. Awesome effort from both. Our Brisbane school would also like to acknowledge the wonderful competition organisers. A huge thanks to Mr David Giovenco(Mr Speakman’s Australian Representative) and his wonderful team of helpers from Jeff Speakman Kenpo 5.0 Sydney. And a shout out to Mr Tony Angus for the Sunday seminars after the comp. 🥇🥇🥇
