AIAS was founded in 1998, to meet the demand of students wishing to study Ayurveda, the complementary health science of India.

In 1999, under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. S. Ajit, (B.A.M.S., P.C.A.S.), the Institute recognized the need to establish a quality assurance model of service delivery by becoming an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), delivering a nationally recognized qualification in Ayurveda.

Choose depth over shortcuts

Some people seek the fastest qualification. Others seek the finest education.

• The Question Isn't How Fast. It's How Well.
The new Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda (HLT62615), commencing October 2026 at AIAS Ayurveda Institute has been created for practitioners who understand the difference.

• We understand that many students are looking for the quickest path to qualification. But Ayurveda is a sophisticated healthcare system developed over thousands of years.

Genuine competence requires comprehensive study, practical application, critical thinking, and guidance from experienced teachers.
• That's why our programs are built around educational integrity rather than minimum requirements.

Led by Dr Ajit B.A.M.S, P.C.A.S, whose depth of knowledge and decades of experience have shaped many of Australia's leading Ayurveda Practitioners.

This qualification is designed for practitioners seeking excellence rather than shortcuts.

Students will learn under the mentorship of Dr Ajit, whose depth of knowledge and decades of experience have shaped many of Australia's leading Ayurveda practitioners.

Our philosophy is simple:

The standard of your education influences the standard of your practice.
• Because in the end, the goal isn't simply to graduate.
• It's to become an exceptional practitioner.
• Starts October 2026

🌿 Can Supplements Restore Prana?

According to Ayurveda, Prana is the vital life force that sustains every cell, tissue, organ, and function of the body. While supplements may support certain bodily functions, they cannot restore Prana on their own.

Prana is depleted by the causes of imbalance in our lives, including improper diet, lifestyle choices, emotional disturbances, and actions that go against nature. As long as these causes remain, true vitality cannot return.

Ayurveda teaches that healing begins by identifying and removing the root cause. When the obstacles to health are removed, Prana flows naturally through the body, vitality returns, and well being is restored.

Health is not created by adding more substances. It is restored by removing what is interfering with the body’s natural intelligence and life force.

What are your thoughts on this Ayurvedic perspective?

NEXT PART WHAT IMPACT PRANA

PRANAVAHA SROTAS SERIES
with AIAS and Dr Ajit

In Ayurveda, the Pranavaha Srotas are responsible for the flow of Prana (life force) throughout the body. The primary root organs are the Heart ❤️ and Lungs 🫁, working together to sustain life and vitality.

They govern:
• Breathing and respiration
• Vital energy and stamina
• Immunity and protection
• Mental clarity and focus
• Overall health and wellbeing

According to Ayurveda, when Prana flows freely and without obstruction, the body and mind remain in a balanced and healthy state. When this flow is disturbed, imbalance and disease may arise.
