While it’s never easy to say goodbye, we are incredibly grateful to have been part of this wonderful community for so many years, supporting local children and families, and walking alongside your little ones on their early learning journey.

From January 2026, all Australian families eligible for CCS will be guaranteed at least 3 days a week (72 hours per fortnight) of subsidised early childhood education and care.

This landmark change — the 3 Day Guarantee — replaces the Child Care Subsidy Activity Test and means:
✅ Eligible families can save thousands each year
✅ Every child can access vital early learning opportunities
✅ Certainty for families who are working, studying, or looking for work
✅ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families receive 100 hours per fortnight (up to 5 days a week)

Grand Final Day Public Holiday….
The centre will be closed on Friday the 26th of September.

Book Week Celebrations:

Last week we celebrated book week by dressing up, reading lots of stories, creating our own books and having a menu full of Story favourites.
Everyone looked amazing in their dress ups and shared their favourite stories with us.
Vanessa our cook made the hungry caterpillar fruit platter, Wombat stew, Gruffalo crumble and pizza.

Science Week:

To extend the children’s interest during Science Week, we set up another hands-on experiment using milk, food colouring, and cotton buds. The children watched with excitement as the colours spread across the surface and began mixing together to form new colours.

The children demonstrated curiosity and engagement as they closely observed the colour changes and began to recognise and name colours and noticed how colours can mix to create new ones. This experiment encouraged sensory exploration and early scientific thinking.
