Their ongoing support of the Sunbury Show helps ensure our community can showcase their talents, creativity, and passions without the barrier of an entry fee.

Whether you're a seasoned exhibitor or entering for the very first time, there's a place for you in the Pavilion. From delicious kitchen creations and blooming garden displays to handcrafted items, artwork, photography, and so much more, we can't wait to see the incredible talent our community has to offer.

I've moved on from the initial hurdles of the Sunbury Asylum Escape Room and am now working on a new cricket-themed game about the birth of the Ashes, called STUMPED. The teaser is below, and I am aware that the Obituary notice has the wrong dates. Thanks to AI. (The game is designed as a portable experience and will be played at the newly restored Sunbury Asylum.)

The story combines the famous Ashes legend at the Rupertswood Mansion in Sunbury, the romance between Ivo Bligh, 8th Earl of Darnley and Florence Morphy, and the objective of solving puzzles surrounding the missing urn. It's a real story with some creative licence added to make it work as an escape room. I'd love to get some feedback on the concept, storyline, puzzles, or overall experience if you have any suggestions. Who's interested?

The first olives of the season have been picked at Emu Creek Farm 🌿🫒

There’s something special about that first harvest — the cool misty mornings, full buckets and the excitement of seeing another season. Every olive needs to be brined before eating, so lots of patience is involved

We also have other late picked varieties coming up in this year’s harvest.

staff who welcomed every guest
with warmth that turned my day to bliss.

The first chestnuts of the season are finally here 🌰

There’s something special about this time of year — the crisp air, the sound of burrs cracking underfoot, and that quiet excitement of spotting the first glossy brown nuts peeking out from their prickly shells.

Today marked the start of our harvest. Not a big haul yet, just the early fall — but enough to remind us that the season has begun. Each one feels like a little reward for patience.

It’s slow, mindful work. Gloves on, eyes down, stepping carefully and gathering what the trees have decided is ready. Nature always sets the pace.

Looking forward to the weeks ahead… fuller baskets, roasting fires, and that unmistakable smell of fresh chestnuts.
