✨ Staff Spirituality Afternoon — Sistine Chapel Immersion ✨
This afternoon our staff came together for a deeply moving Sistine Chapel Immersion experience at St Mary’s Cathedral. Surrounded by the beauty of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, we were invited to slow down, reflect, and enter more fully into the story of our faith.
Through this immersive encounter, our staff were able to connect with the rich narrative of creation, humanity, and God’s enduring love , a powerful reminder of the mission that guides our work each day. The experience offered space for prayer, contemplation, and renewed spiritual grounding.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
We are grateful for this opportunity to grow together in faith, deepen our understanding, and strengthen the spiritual heart of our community.

Today our students came together in prayer and reflection to honour the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, a day that reminds us of Mary’s deep faith, her “yes” to God, and the hope she inspires in all of us.
As a community, we paused to recognise the importance of this feast and to reflect on Mary’s role as a model of love, humility, and trust in God’s promise.
“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.” — Luke 1:46–47
May Mary’s example continue to guide our hearts toward faith, compassion, and courage.

Today our college community had the joy of welcoming Anthony Cleary, Director of Mission and Identity at Sydney Catholic Schools.
Mr Cleary visited our Year 7 students to present them with a beautiful Children’s Bible , a gift that encourages them to grow in faith, explore Scripture, and discover God’s love through His word. This special moment offered our students a meaningful opportunity to reflect, connect, and begin their own journey of reading and learning about God.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
During his visit, Mr Cleary also enjoyed the warm hospitality of our community, experiencing the joy of our Student Café and sharing a lovely morning tea with the college staff.
We are grateful for his presence, his encouragement, and his commitment to nurturing faith in our young people.

Today’s Primary Cross Country with Sydney Catholic Schools brought excitement, determination, and plenty of proud smiles as students took on the course at Sydney Motorsport Park, one of the most vibrant sporting venues in the region. The atmosphere was buzzing from the first race to the last, with students cheering one another on and celebrating the spirit of participation just as much as the results.
A huge congratulations to our outstanding athletes Noah, who powered through in the Multi‑Sports Division, and Yash, who followed with an impressive finish. Their hard work, resilience, and sportsmanship were on full display, and our whole school community is incredibly proud of them.

Yesterday’s SCS Arts Eisteddfod, with its spotlight on Dance, filled the day with energy, colour, and pure joy. Students from across the system came together to celebrate creativity, movement, and expression, showcasing everything from contemporary pieces to upbeat group routines. The eisteddfod itself is a celebration of the arts in its truest form , a space where students can shine, support one another, and experience the thrill of performing on a real stage. The excitement was unmistakable: proud smiles, nervous giggles, and that wonderful sense of achievement that comes from giving your best. It was a day that reminded everyone just how powerful the arts can be in building confidence, community, and happiness for our students.
The students had a wonderful time, and we are thankful for this opportunity.

🌸 Mother’s Day Stall 🌸
Today our school was filled with excitement as students visited our Mother’s Day Stall to choose the perfect gift for the special women in their lives. The variety of gifts was absolutely gorgeous, and the students’ smiles said it all — pure joy, pride, and anticipation as they made their selections.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Stage 5 students who supported the younger students so patiently and kindly. Your guidance made the experience even more meaningful.
